I like this. Maybe the final line needs a twist? Perhaps not 'as you' but 'in you'? It's pretty rhythmic, love to hear you read it with some kind of crashing creshendo - you know a building rhythm with maybe one cymbal crash at the end? Or no - build it really high & frantic and finish with one tap on a triangle???
Hope you don't mind me making suggestions - I can't help when I read something I really like, it sets me mind going...
