Park

Dennis the Menace and Osama bin Laden sit lazily together on a park bench in North London.
The sun shines down on the dead bodies of bullet peppered dog walkers, the result of an afternoon of brutal savagery.
“I have never seen anything like this” says Dennis excitedly as his pink shadowless cartoon hand grips the polished wood of an AK47. “I can’t wait to show it to the Bash Street Kids.” The catapult, once Dennis’s signature weapon, his preferred instrument of menace, now lays redundant on the bloody grass.
Osama gently ruffles Dennis’s hair. “Today has been a great day” he says with his eyes shut
As the dogs of the dead sniff optimistically at the feet of their owners Gnasher looks on with tears in his eyes.
